New Nasa logo …

The Boston Globe invited TOPOS GRAPHICS to redesign a potential new NASA logo for an article titled “Space, the Designer’s Frontier”.

Since February 2006 NASA’s self-described mission statement has been to “pioneer the future in space exploration, scientific discovery, and aeronautics research”. It is much more than that.

NASA is also an idea-one that embodies exploration, adventure, progress, technology, engineering, the best of mankind. It represents the furthest reaches of what’s possible, shuttling us to the brink of the unknown.
